ALEXANDER SHUMSKY JOINS THE PANEL OF JUDGES AT GLOBAL DESIGN GRADUATE SHOW INTERNATIONAL CONTEST

Alexander Shumsky, President of Russian Fashion Council and Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia joined the panel of judges of Global Design Graduate Show 2021. The exhibition is arranged by ARTSTHREAD, the world's top digital venue for emerging artists and designers, as well as a platform for support of the new generation of upcoming talents. For the second year in a row, ARTSTHREAD collaborates with Gucci, an exclusive partner of Global Design Graduate Show 2021.
At Global Design Graduate Show 2021, awards will be given in a variety of categories: Fashion / Textiles / Accessories, Visual Communication / Moving Image / Film, Industrial / Product / Interiors / Architecture, and Fine Art / Photography / Craft. This year, 5,211 students sent their entries, which makes Global Design Graduate Show 2021 the largest online-exhibition of end-of-year projects from creative students. Together with his international colleagues, Alexander Shumsky will have to select the best and brightest designers. The results will be announced on October 18, 2021.
Besides President of Russian Fashion Council and Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia the Jury includes: Sara Sozzani Maino – Deputy Editor-in-Chief at Vogue Italy, Head of Vogue Talents, International Brand Ambassador at Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana; Jennie Rosen – CEO of Swedish Fashion Council; Anna Orsini – strategic consultant for British Fashion Council; Christina Dean – founder & chair of Redress; Steven Burns – global men's denim design director at Levi's; Ida Petersson – procurement director at Browns; Lee Holman – creative director at Tommy Hilfiger; Phil Dickinson – creative director at Superdry; Paul Glynn, senior's director of design men's at Nordstorm; Lionel Vermeil – director of fashion and luxury intelligence at Kering; José Cabaço – global creative concept and storytelling director at Adidas; Nick Parsons – Senior Art Director at Apple; Ryan Robinson – Creative Lead at Warner Media, and many others.
Students from anywhere globally trained in arts and design are invited to join, including the ones that have graduated in 2020/2021, completing any related creative course.
