MERCEDES-BENZ FASHION WEEK RUSSIA CALLS OUT FOR EMERGING DESIGNERS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia has set up a new initiative – Global Talents. Fashion week calls out for emerging designers from all over the world to apply for a free participation in the catwalk schedule of the event. 10 slots are available. The winners will get individual fashion show time slot in the main Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia catwalk program and organizational and logistics support.
MBFW Russia dates are March, 30 – April, 3.
Application is open through March 1, 2019.

Global Talents is a new initiative by Russian Fashion Council. Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia will provide emerging talents with a unique opportunity to show their collections to the entire world. Eligible designers should have at least 2-year experience of operation; experience of at least 3 fully produced collections; premier of collection; a collection of at least 25 looks of relevant season (fall/winter 2019).

Russian Fashion Council runs Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia, the biggest and most widely media-covered fashion event in Russia and Eastern Europe. Fashion Week takes place in Moscow twice a year, in March and October, since 2000, showcasing over 150 designers. Each season, MBFW Russia is attended by over 55,000 guests, including thousands of buyers, journalists, and industry experts. More than 1,000,000 viewers follow live streaming videos of fashion shows from Moscow on the Internet through hundreds of websites and media channels. Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia is a gateway for Russian talents to global markets and for international designers to local market, as well. Check the site of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia . In 2017 Russian Fashion Council, with support of Department of Culture of the Moscow Government, launched a free platform for young designers, called Futurum Moscow. In 2018-19 the platform should expand to Saint Petersburg and other Russian cities, supporting local fashion talents. The project was enhanced with Fashion Futurum Accelerator which helps young fashion brands to develop the sustainable business.
