Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia announces new dates and expansion

New dates for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia are March 30 – April 3, 2019. This season the event will undergo further transformation – Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia will now take over two levels of the Manege, the most prestigious venue in Moscow, next to Kremlin. Manege will accommodate three MBFW Russia catwalks and trendy showroom space Pop-Up Shop, originally launched in Fall 2018. All three catwalks will get individual naming: one of the show halls will be titled "Mercedes-Benz".
In the upcoming season Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia will further increase its focus on searching for young talented designers – the footprint of the initiative will grow as Russian Fashion Council launched its new Global Talents project in January 2019.

We have extended our Title Sponsorship of the Fashion Week for three more years to consolidate the success we have reached together with "Artefact" since 2011 when our cooperation first started in Russia."
The new contract is for six seasons, starting March 2019. "Mercedes-Benz RUS" signed its first Title Sponsorship agreement with Russian Fashion Week in Spring 2011. In 16 seasons Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia has ranked up with other global fashion weeks, while keeping the focus on new names. Fashion Week is expanding in upcoming season – even more designers will be able to present their collections in Moscow in different ways: catwalk shows, presentations, exhibitions, etc.
The joint schedule of the October 2018 MBFW Russia and satellite events contained 175 designers. This season only the official Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia agenda will include more than 100 designers.

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia is the largest fashion event in Russia and Eastern Europe that is covered by media from all over the world. Since 2000, Fashion Week takes place in Moscow twice a year – in March and October. Every season more than 50 fashion shows are held at the main venue of the event in Manege.
