The FashionNet concept was developed by a task team of Russian Fashion Council under the Fashion Futurum initiative at the platform of the National Technological Initiative by ASI. This concept implied reorientation of Russian fashion industry to support and promotion of thousands of emerging brands and designers on a par with current investments to mass production and outdated economic models. The priorities can't be changed unless some new technological solutions are applied, resulting in the fundamental change of the supply chain. Today FashionNet is an innovative project by Russian Fashion Council, intended to support technological startups in the field of fashion and retail, promoting growth of independent brands, and meeting requirements of sustainable fashion.
